Starry Bacon Snacks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 125 g cold butter, diced.
02 - 250 g all-purpose flour.
03 - A pinch of salt.
04 - 5-6 tablespoons of chilled water.
05 - 150 g shredded cheese (Gouda or Emmental).
06 - 200 g sour cream.
07 - 100 g Schmand (German sour cream).
08 - 150 g bacon bits.
09 - 1 small onion.
10 - Fresh parsley or chives.
11 - Salt and pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the flour, butter, and salt in a large bowl. Use your fingers to crumble them into a sandy mixture.
02 - Slowly pour in cold water while kneading until the dough is smooth. Wrap it in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes in the fridge.
03 - Heat the oven to 200°C (fan setting). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
04 - Roll out the dough on a floured counter to about 3-5 mm thin. Use a star-shaped cutter to make shapes and place them on the tray.
05 - Stir the sour cream and Schmand together, adding a bit of salt and pepper. Spread this mixture on each dough star.
06 - Add onion slices and bacon pieces on top, then sprinkle grated cheese over everything.
07 - Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden, and the dough edges are crisp.
