Wash, dry, and finely chop the parsley. Set a few leaves aside for garnish.

Stir the cream cheese and chopped parsley together. Season with a little salt and pepper.

Slice the gingerbread pieces in half. Spread the parsley-cream cheese mix over each half.

Place a piece of smoked duck on top of each slice. Use a toothpick to hold it in place.

Use the saved parsley leaves to decorate. Serve chilled.
