Shrimp Scampi Gordon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined.
02 - Freshly ground black pepper and salt.
03 - 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter.
04 - 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
06 - 1/4 cup of fresh parsley leaves, chopped.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
08 - 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice.
09 - 1/4 cup of shallots, finely chopped.
10 - 1/2 cup of white wine.

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle shrimp with a bit of salt and pepper.
02 - Melt two tablespoons of butter with two of olive oil. Cook shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side till they're pink. Set aside.
03 - Using the same pan, toss in the rest of the butter and oil. Sauté garlic and shallots for 2 minutes.
04 - Pour in the white wine, lemon juice, parsley, and chili flakes. Stir everything together.
05 - Bring it to a boil and simmer it down to about half the volume, around 2-3 minutes.
06 - Add shrimp back and coat them in sauce. Heat it up for another 2 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - This is a Gordon Ramsay classic and tastes great with crispy bread or pasta.
02 - Make sure the shrimp don’t overcook so they stay juicy.
