01 -
Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C), and get a baking tray ready by laying down parchment paper.
02 -
Stir the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, brown sugar, and pumpkin spice together in a small bowl until it’s all combined.
03 -
Roll out the crescent dough onto a flat surface, like a cutting board. Cut it in half to make two rectangles and place them next to each other.
04 -
Take the pumpkin mixture and spread it evenly across one of the dough rectangles.
05 -
Lay the second rectangle on top of the first, lining it up to create a filled dough sandwich.
06 -
Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into strips roughly 3/4 inch wide.
07 -
Carefully move the strips over to the baking tray you prepared earlier.
08 -
Hold one end of a strip and twist it twice. Then twist the other end a couple more times to make a spiral shape.
09 -
Take the melted butter and brush it over each of the twists.
10 -
Combine the cinnamon with the sugar, then sprinkle the mix over the twisted dough evenly.
11 -
Pop the twists in the oven, and bake them for 8-11 minutes until they’re golden. If you’d like, serve them with whipped cream on the side for dipping.
