Ombre Pink Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 3 eggs
02 - 1/3 cup melted butter
03 - 1 1/4 cups milk
04 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
07 - 1 cup sugar
08 - 3 cups flour

→ Icing

09 - 1/4 cup milk
10 - 2 cups icing sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

→ Decorating

12 - Mixed sprinkles
13 - Pink or red gel food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F. Lightly coat the donut pan with butter or oil.
02 - Stir together the dry stuff in one bowl. In another, whisk the wet ingredients. Combine both mixtures, stirring until there aren't lumps.
03 - Fill the pan with batter using a bag. Bake for 10 minutes—check they’re done before pulling them out.
04 - Blend the icing ingredients. Dip donuts once cooled. If you want pink tones, slowly add food coloring. Sprinkle toppings before icing hardens.

# Notes:

01 - They cook fast, so keep an eye on them.
02 - Use lighter food coloring on the first donuts, then darken as you go.
