Pan Seared Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless salmon fillets.
02 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
03 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon of salt.
05 - 2 teaspoons of Italian herbs.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes.
09 - 3 tablespoons of plain butter.
10 - 1/2 tablespoon of chopped garlic.
11 - 1/2 cup of chicken stock.
12 - 1 cup of heavy cream.
13 - 2 tablespoons of softened cream cheese.
14 - 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
15 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup of finely grated parmesan.
16 - 2 tablespoons of chopped basil.
17 - 1 tablespoon of parsley, minced.

# Instructions:

01 - Brush the salmon with oil and coat it with garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, oregano, and peppers.
02 - Heat some oil in the pan and cook the salmon for about 3 minutes on each side until it crisps up. Lower the heat and cook for a bit longer.
03 - Using the same pan, melt the butter, then stir in chopped garlic. Pour in cream, lemon juice, and chicken stock. Let it gently bubble for a few minutes.
04 - Mix in cream cheese and parmesan while whisking until it gets creamy. Add a bit of salt and pepper, if needed.
05 - Toss in fresh herbs, and heat the salmon again in the sauce before plating.

# Notes:

01 - You can include onions in the sauce if you'd like.
02 - Feel free to adjust the parmesan to your preference.
