Maple oats and nuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Liquids

01 - 3 cups of milk

→ Cereals and Toppings

02 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
03 - 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
04 - 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
05 - 1 cup of whole oats and flaxseeds

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a saucepan and mix the milk (3 cups) with a small pinch of salt, about 1/2 teaspoon. Heat it up until it starts bubbling. While it's heating, grab your whisk and slowly stir in the oats, flaxseeds, walnuts, maple syrup, and vanilla. Turn down the heat to low, and keep whisking until it's thick and creamy, about 6 to 7 minutes.
02 - Use a big microwave-safe bowl that can hold about 12 cups (3 L). Stir the milk (3 cups) and a little salt (1/2 teaspoon) together in it. Pop the bowl in the microwave on high for about 3 minutes, or until the milk starts bubbling. Add the oats, flaxseeds, walnuts, maple syrup, and vanilla to the hot liquid, then stir everything well. Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap, leaving a corner uncovered, and cook on high for 6 minutes. Stir it every so often and stop once it's nice and thick.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust the amount of maple syrup depending on how sweet you want it.
