Peel the sweet potato and chop it into bite-sized cubes. Toss it into a pot along with the lentils, garlic, and bay leaf, then cover with water.

Let it simmer for around 12 minutes, then make sure you drain it well.

Mash up the cooked sweet potato and lentils. Stir in the parsley, spices, and flour, blending everything together.

Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of walnuts. Set them on a baking tray, brush with olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes at 190°C.
