Mix the mascarpone and sugar together until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.

Mix in the lemon juice and zest to the batter.

Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold them into the batter.

Pour in the melted butter and mix everything until the batter is smooth.

Transfer the batter into your pan and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. A knife inserted into the middle should come out clean when it's done.

Combine the icing sugar and lemon juice. Spread the glaze over the cooled cake.
