Holiday Sangria Cocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 apple, diced.
02 - 1 orange, cut into slices.
03 - 2 cinnamon sticks.
04 - 1 bottle (750 ml) red wine.
05 - 1 cup of brandy.
06 - 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
07 - 2 cups of fresh cranberries.
08 - 4 star anise flowers.
09 - 4 sprigs of rosemary, plus extra for decorating.
10 - 1 chilled bottle of sparkling apple cider.
11 - Cinnamon-sugar mix for glass rims (optional).
12 - Honey or maple syrup for glass rims (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pitcher, combine wine, brandy, sugar, fruits, spices, and rosemary.
02 - Cover the pitcher and chill in the fridge overnight so flavors blend well.
03 - Top off the drink with sparkling cider when you're ready to serve.
04 - Dip the glass edge in syrup or honey, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mix.
05 - Pour over ice and toss in rosemary sprigs to garnish.

# Notes:

01 - It's better when made the day before you're serving.
02 - Make sure to add the sparkling cider right before drinking.
