Fun Cake Pops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 40 sticks for cake pops.
02 - 3 and a half cups of candy or chocolate for melting.
03 - A small amount of milk, just a teaspoon.
04 - Optional sprinkles for topping.
05 - A teaspoon of vanilla for flavor.
06 - Half a cup of butter, softened to room temperature.
07 - A quarter cup of vegetable oil.
08 - One box of white cake mix including its listed ingredients (oil, eggs, milk).
09 - One cup of powdered sugar for sweetness.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the cake box directions, mixing in a bit of extra oil. Bake as instructed.
02 - After baking, set the cake aside to cool for 15 minutes. Break it into tiny crumbs in a big mixing bowl.
03 - Blend the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for about 4 minutes until the mixture is creamy.
04 - Stir 3/4 of the frosting into the cake crumbs. If the crumbs seem too dry, mix in the rest.
05 - Form the mixture into round balls. Chill these for 10 minutes, then roll again to smooth them out.
06 - Put the balls in the freezer for a half-hour or chill in the fridge for an hour and a half.
07 - Microwave the chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until melted.
08 - Dip the top of a stick into melted chocolate and push it into a ball.
09 - Submerge the balls into the melted chocolate. Let the excess drip off, then sprinkle with decoration before they harden.
10 - Place the pops in a stand or holder until the coating fully sets.

# Notes:

01 - Making your own frosting from scratch tastes much better than store-bought.
02 - Candy melts are easier to use than chocolate for the coating step.
03 - Keep the cake pops cold while you’re working so they don’t slide off the sticks.
