Pecan Pie Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
02 - Butter spray for greasing.
03 - 1 pre-made refrigerated pie crust box.
04 - 6 eggs, lightly whisked.
05 - 2 cups pecans, either chopped or whole.
06 - 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
07 - 2 1/2 cups dark corn syrup (Karo).
08 - 1 cup granulated sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 350°F to start warming up.
02 - Spray a 13x9 baking dish with butter spray.
03 - Roll out the first crust into a rectangle to fit the dish. If there are cracks, pinch them together to fix.
04 - Combine sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla, and eggs in a big bowl.
05 - Mix the pecans into the filling.
06 - Pour half the filling into the crust, add the second crust on top, then pour the remaining filling over it.
07 - Place in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes until it's firmed up.
08 - Let it chill completely before you slice and serve.

# Notes:

01 - This is simpler to serve than a regular pie. Dark corn syrup adds a deeper flavor, but light syrup works too.
02 - The center should wobble just a little when it's done. Wait until it's totally cool for the best texture.
