Simple lemon cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - ½ cup (100g) of light brown sugar
02 - ½ cup (100g) of regular white sugar
03 - 1 cup (125g) of all-purpose flour
04 - 2 teaspoons of baking powder

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
06 - 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter
07 - 1 cup (240ml) of whole milk

→ Topping

08 - 1 can (595g) of lemon pie filling

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 175°C to preheat.
02 - Place the butter into a baking pan and let it melt in the oven.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
04 - Pour the batter over the melted butter in the dish. Don’t stir. Spread the lemon filling gently on top so it’s even.
05 - Bake it for 45-50 minutes or until the topping is golden and bubbly.

01 - It’s best served warm.
02 - The crust rises to the top naturally while baking.
