Grab your Shredded Wheat and crush it into tiny bits in a big bowl, then set it to one side.

Gently heat the butter and golden syrup together in a small pan on low, giving it an occasional stir. Once the butter's melted, take the pan off the heat and stir in the milk and dark chocolate until smooth.

Pour the warm chocolate mixture over your crushed cereal and stir everything until coated and sticky.

Using two spoons or a cookie/ice cream scoop, scoop mounds of the mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper. Make a small dip in the middle of each one and pop three Easter candies on the top.

Place the tray in a fridge and let the nests firm up until they're solid.
