# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Coat a round 8-inch or springform pan with non-stick spray so nothing sticks.
02 - Layer the almond slices on a small tray. Pop them in the oven for five minutes or until golden. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning, then cool them off.
03 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the salt, almond flour, and baking powder. Stir until it's blended well.
04 - In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, maple syrup, oil, and both extracts (vanilla and almond) until everything looks smooth.
05 - Slowly add the dry mix into the wet mixture and stir until the batter is smooth without any lumps.
06 - Pour the batter you made into the greased pan. Evenly scatter the toasted almond slices across the top.
07 - Place the pan into the preheated oven and bake for about 20–25 minutes. The top should look golden, and a toothpick poked into the center should come out clean.
