Chicken Parmesan Crockpot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 thin pieces of chicken.
02 - One egg.
03 - 1/4 cup of milk.
04 - 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs.
05 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan.
06 - A teaspoon of salt.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.
08 - 1/4 cup olive oil.
09 - One 22-ounce jar of marinara sauce.
10 - 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - In one bowl, whisk the milk with the egg. In another, mix the parmesan, salt, breadcrumbs, and pepper.
02 - First, dunk the cutlets into the egg mixture. Then, cover each one with the breadcrumb mix.
03 - Warm the oil in a pan. Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes each side until just golden.
04 - Pour the marinara into the slow cooker. Lay the browned chicken on top. Let it cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours. Add mozzarella during the last half hour.
05 - Serve over your favorite pasta.

01 - Browning the chicken keeps it crunchy.
02 - Thin chicken breasts work fine, too.
03 - Choose any pasta you'd like.
04 - No need to flip the chicken while cooking.
