In one bowl, whisk the milk with the egg. In another, mix the parmesan, salt, breadcrumbs, and pepper.

First, dunk the cutlets into the egg mixture. Then, cover each one with the breadcrumb mix.

Warm the oil in a pan. Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes each side until just golden.

Pour the marinara into the slow cooker. Lay the browned chicken on top. Let it cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours. Add mozzarella during the last half hour.
