Cherry Cream Crescents (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can of cherry pie filling (21 oz).
02 - 2 packages of crescent rolls (8 oz each).
03 - 1 large egg, separated, at room temperature.
04 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
05 - 8 oz of softened cream cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Whip together the sugar, egg yolk, and softened cream cheese.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly oil your baking sheets. Divide the crescent dough into 16 individual triangles and lay them flat.
03 - On the wide end of each triangle, spread 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture. Add 1 tablespoon of the cherry filling. Wrap the dough around the filling, folding the pointed end over it and tucking it underneath. Use egg white to brush the surface.
04 - Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

01 - Tastes best when warm.
02 - You can swap in different pie fillings.
03 - Warmer eggs make mixing easier.
04 - Makes a batch of 16 rolls.
05 - Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
