Cheese Bacon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet of puff pastry.
02 - 150 g of bacon bits.
03 - 100 g of shredded cheese (like cheddar, emmental, or comté).
04 - 1 egg yolk.
05 - Sesame seeds (optional).
06 - Black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the bacon bits in a skillet over medium heat until they’re crunchy and golden. Set them on a paper towel to drain the grease.
02 - Heat your oven to 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface, stretching it a little if needed.
03 - Spread the shredded cheese over the pastry. Sprinkle on the cooked bacon, season with black pepper, then roll it up into a log shape. Slice it into 2 cm rounds.
04 - Lay the slices on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush them with egg yolk and add sesame seeds on top. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
