Stir the syrup and butter together until it’s creamy and smooth.

Spread the maple-butter mix on one side of each bread slice. Put a slice of cheese on half of them, layer 2 slices of bacon, add another slice of cheese, and top with the remaining bread.

Heat a pan over medium-low flame. Grill the sandwiches, flipping once, for 10-12 minutes or until the bread crisps up and the cheese is melted.
