Yogurt Cake with Almonds (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - One container of plain yogurt (125g)
02 - Two containers of sugar (250g total)
03 - Three containers of flour (375g total)
04 - One container of vegetable oil (125ml)
05 - A packet of baking powder (11g)
06 - A container of almond powder (100g)
07 - Three eggs
08 - A dash of salt

→ Optional flavors and toppings

09 - Citrus zest (lemon or orange)
10 - Sliced almonds

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 180°C. Coat the pan with butter and flour or line it with baking paper.
02 - In a big bowl, combine the flour, almond powder, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, oil, and eggs until it’s smooth.
04 - Little by little, stir the dry mix into the wet mix. Toss in the citrus zest if you’re using it.
05 - Pour the batter into your pan and smooth out the top. Sprinkle almonds on top if you want.
06 - Bake it for 30-40 minutes. To check if it’s done, stick a knife in and see if it comes out clean.

01 - Use the empty yogurt container to measure out other ingredients.
02 - Feel free to adjust the sugar to fit your taste.
