Woman Apple Dumplings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 can of crescent roll dough (like Pillsbury)
02 - 1 large apple (a tart kind, like Fuji)
03 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/2 cup of butter, unsalted
06 - 2/3 cup granulated sugar
07 - 3/4 cup of soda (like 7-Up), 6 ounces

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
02 - Peel the apple, then cut it into 8-10 slices and put them aside for now.
03 - Pull apart the crescent roll dough into triangle-shaped pieces.
04 - To wrap, start at the widest end of a triangle and roll it snugly around an apple slice. Dry apples beforehand so the dough sticks better. Arrange all the rolled slices in the greased pan.
05 - In a small pot, melt butter over medium heat. Mix in sugar and cinnamon, stirring constantly as it thickens up. Once done, take it off the heat and stir in vanilla.
06 - Pour the buttery cinnamon mixture over the wrapped apples evenly. Then, drizzle the soda on top of everything.
07 - Bake the dish for 40-45 minutes until the rolls look golden on top.

# Notes:

01 - Drying your apple slices first makes the dough stick much better.
