01 -
Get a saucepan on medium heat and let the butter melt completely till it’s bubbling slightly.
02 -
Add the flour into the pan. Whisk non-stop for 2 minutes to create a paste, but make sure it doesn’t turn brown.
03 -
Slowly pour in the milk while whisking without stopping. After 3-5 minutes of stirring, the sauce will thicken and bubble.
04 -
Toss in the minced garlic, black pepper, and sea salt. Mix everything well until it’s evenly blended.
05 -
Stir that grated Parmesan into the sauce until it’s melted. Remove from the heat and set it aside to cool off slightly.
06 -
Heat your oven to a high 450°F (232°C). Lay out the pizza crust, brush it with olive oil, and sprinkle some Italian seasoning over it.
07 -
Layer on the creamy garlic sauce and evenly spread it over the crust. Add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
08 -
Pop your pizza into the hot oven for 10-12 minutes. Let it bake until the cheese melts and develops those golden spots.
09 -
Pull it out of the oven, sprinkle the fresh basil ribbons on, and serve while it’s warm and delicious!
