Heart-Shaped Sausage Pastry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 3 sheets of puff pastry
02 - 24 small sausages (knack style)

→ Egg Wash

03 - 5cl milk
04 - 2 egg yolks

→ Tools

05 - 1 heart-shaped baking dish (27 x 24 x 5cm)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on and preheat it to 200°C.
02 - Roll out the puff pastry, place a sausage on top, and wrap the pastry around it tightly. Seal the edges firmly. Do this for all the sausages.
03 - Slice the rolls into equal pieces, about 2-3 cm wide. Then, arrange them vertically in a heart shape inside the baking dish.
04 - Whisk the egg yolks with the milk and brush this mixture over the rolls. Bake for about 15-18 minutes, keeping an eye on the color as they cook.
