Tender Beef Onions (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 500 g of beef (sirloin or tenderloin), sliced thin.
02 - 3 large onions, thinly sliced.
03 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
04 - 2 tablespoons runny honey.
05 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
06 - 2 garlic cloves, minced small.
07 - Ground black pepper, to taste.
08 - Sesame seeds and green onions for topping (optional).
09 - Cooked rice to serve.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice up the beef really thin, chop the onions into strips, and finely mince the garlic.
02 - Stir together the soy sauce and honey in a bowl until they're perfectly blended.
03 - Heat oil in a big frying pan, toss in the onions, and let them soften and caramelize as they cook.
04 - Throw the garlic into the pan with the beef. Turn up the heat and cook it quickly, stirring often, until the beef browns.
05 - Pour the soy-honey mixture into the pan, add pepper, and let it coat the meat while it caramelizes. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions for garnish if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - This dish mixes classic Asian flavors with a hint of sweetness from the honey.
02 - For the best texture, pick good-quality beef and slice it against the grain.
