Sweet Cinnamon Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) regular sugar.
02 - 2 cups (250g) plain flour.
03 - 1/4 cup (57g) melted unsalted butter (for coating).
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
05 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla.
06 - 1/2 cup (100g) white sugar (for coating).
07 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt (kosher).
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
10 - 1 large egg, warmed to room temp.
11 - 2 tablespoons melted butter (unsalted).
12 - 1 1/4 cups (306g) whole milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Coat a loaf pan (8.5x4.5-inch) with spray oil.
02 - In a big bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
03 - Grab another bowl. Whisk together your milk, egg, vanilla, and the melted butter.
04 - Blend the wet bowl into the dry bowl. Stir just enough to combine (don’t overdo it).
05 - Pop the batter into the pan and bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out with just a couple crumbs.
06 - Let sit 10 minutes, take it out of the pan, rub on butter while it’s warm, and cover it with the spiced sugar mix.

01 - Don’t stir the batter too much.
02 - Add the sugar coating while it’s hot.
03 - Leftover coating works great for later.
