Strawberry Cream Pastry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - 1-2 vegan puff pastry sheets (gluten-free)
02 - 4 tbsp plant-based milk
03 - Some caster sugar for sprinkling

→ Filling

04 - 130g plant-based cream cheese
05 - 15g flour (use gluten-free or regular)
06 - 15g caster sugar
07 - Strawberries, fresh

# Instructions:

01 - Set your fan oven to 180°C and line a couple of trays with baking paper.
02 - Roll out the pastry sheets to smooth out creases. Use heart-shaped cutters for large hearts, then add a smaller heart outline in the center.
03 - Combine the cream cheese, sugar, and flour until the texture feels smooth. Spoon it into a piping bag.
04 - Put a bit of the creamy mix onto the pastry hearts. Add strawberry slices on top, then brush the edges with plant milk and sprinkle a little sugar.
05 - Pop them in the oven for 10-15 minutes until they’re golden and crisp. Let them cool a little before adding icing sugar and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Keep these in an airtight box in the fridge.
02 - They taste best if eaten within 48 hours.
03 - Bring them to room temperature before enjoying.
