Steak and Mushroom Pan (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak Ingredients

01 - A little over 1 pound of sirloin, diced into tender 1-inch chunks
02 - 1 tbsp of olive oil
03 - Salt and pepper, just enough to season the steak

→ Creamy Sauce Ingredients

04 - 1 cup of thick cream
05 - Half a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 8 oz of mushrooms, cleaned and sliced thinly
07 - 1 and a half tsp of freshly minced garlic
08 - 1 tsp of Italian herbs blend
09 - Half a tsp of salt
10 - Quarter tsp of finely ground black pepper

→ Topping

11 - A handful of freshly chopped parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Slice up the sirloin into neat, bite-sized cubes, roughly an inch each. Heat olive oil in a medium pan on medium-high heat. Sprinkle the steak pieces with a pinch of salt and pepper, and cook until they’re crusty and golden-brown.
02 - Move the golden steak bites aside for now. In the same pan, toss in the mushrooms and garlic, letting them cook in the leftover juices until everything is mouthwateringly tender and fragrant.
03 - Add the cream to the skillet and mix in the shredded Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer gently until you’ve got a rich, creamy sauce.
04 - Pop the cooked steak bites back into your creamy sauce, giving them enough time to heat through while the sauce thickens up nicely. Sprinkle with parsley on top and serve with your favorite pasta or rice on the side.

# Notes:

01 - This luscious dish is done in less than 30 minutes, making it perfect for those busy weekdays when you still want something fancy.
02 - Switch heavy cream with half-and-half if you’d like a leaner sauce option.
