01 -
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat that doesn’t stick.
02 -
Pick out the orange, green, and purple M&M's from the bag and put them aside in a small bowl.
03 -
In a bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking soda. Put the bowl aside.
04 -
Beat the butter along with both sugars in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer until it’s light and airy.
05 -
Pour in the eggs and the vanilla to the sugar-butter mix, and keep blending until everything comes together nicely.
06 -
While mixing, slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Keep mixing until there are no dry spots left, and you have a dough.
07 -
Mix in half of the M&M's into your cookie dough carefully.
08 -
Roll the dough into balls about 2 inches wide, then press the leftover M&M's on top of every ball.
09 -
Pop the cookie balls onto the prepared sheet and bake them for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are firm. Let the cookies cool slightly before moving them to a wire rack.
10 -
Soften your frosting by microwaving it in a safe bowl for 15 seconds. Stir in the neon green coloring and adjust to your liking.
11 -
With a flavor injector, inject frosting into each cookie from the side until it cracks slightly on top.
