Chop prunes and apricots roughly. Toss together with the almonds and raisins.

Combine flour, baking powder, spices, sugar, and salt. Gradually stir in eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla till smooth.

Gently fold the dried fruit and almond mix into the batter.

Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180°C for 45-50 minutes. When done, a knife inserted should come out clean.

Allow it to cool fully before taking out of the tin. Tastes even better after a day of resting!
