Rinse chicken pieces well and pat dry.

In a large bowl, combine flour with garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and smoked paprika. Don't forget to set some aside for gravy!

Take chicken pieces and thoroughly coat them with the seasoned flour mix.

Pour oil into a big frying pan. Fry the coated chicken until golden crispy on each side. Take it out and set aside.

In the same pan, cook diced onions for about two minutes. Toss in minced garlic and cook an extra minute before removing them.

Stir leftover seasoned flour into the drippings in the pan. Slowly whisk in chicken stock and milk to smooth out the gravy.

Add your browned chicken, onions, and garlic back to the pan. Cover it and cook on low heat for 30–35 minutes, flipping the chicken now and then.
