Soft Cinnamon Candy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup butter, plus extra for the pan.
02 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon flavoring oil.
03 - 1½ cups corn syrup (light).
04 - 1 teaspoon gel food coloring, red.
05 - 1½ cups heavy cream.
06 - 2 cups granulated white sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Coat a 9x13 pan with butter and leave it aside.
02 - In a large pan, mix together cream, butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Keep stirring on medium heat until the thermometer hits 240°F (around 30 minutes).
03 - Take the pan off the heat. Add red coloring and cinnamon oil, mixing thoroughly.
04 - Pour everything into the buttered dish. Let it cool at room temperature, then move it to the fridge to firm up.
05 - Bring dish to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cutting into pieces. Wrap each piece in wax paper to store.

# Notes:

01 - Mixture must hit 240°F exactly.
02 - You can't stop stirring while cooking.
03 - Wrap each piece one by one for keeping.
