Coat a 9x13 pan with butter and leave it aside.

In a large pan, mix together cream, butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Keep stirring on medium heat until the thermometer hits 240°F (around 30 minutes).

Take the pan off the heat. Add red coloring and cinnamon oil, mixing thoroughly.

Pour everything into the buttered dish. Let it cool at room temperature, then move it to the fridge to firm up.

Bring dish to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cutting into pieces. Wrap each piece in wax paper to store.
