Smoky Cheddar Ranch Pasta (Print Version)

01 - 1 lb smoked beef sausage, cut into slices
02 - 4 cups chicken broth
03 - 1 packet ranch seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade version
04 - 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
05 - 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or any short pasta)
06 - 1 cup of heavy cream
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
08 - 1 lb diced chicken breast
09 - Salt and pepper, as much as you like
10 - Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (if you want)

# Instructions:

01 - Put the sliced sausage in a big pot and cook for a couple of minutes on medium heat until it's golden.
02 - Heat up the butter or oil in the pot. Toss in the diced chicken, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and cook it until the outside is golden brown.
03 - Add the cream, ranch seasoning, pasta, and chicken broth to the pot. Stir to combine them all well.
04 - Pop the lid on the pot and let it cook on low to medium for about 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally until the pasta's done, and most of the liquid is soaked up.
05 - Toss in the cheddar cheese and keep stirring until everything blends into a creamy sauce.
06 - Sprinkle chopped parsley or green onions on top, if you like. Serve it up while it's still warm!
