Set oven temperature as per the instructions on the pizza dough package

Slice dough into strips about 2 inches wide, then press them out to make each strip 3 inches wide for quicker baking

Spread sauce on one side of each strip, sprinkle cheese and layer overlapping pepperoni, then add more cheese on top

Fold the side without sauce over the toppings, then roll it up to form a rose-like shape

Put the roses on a lined baking tray. If you'd like, fan out a few pepperonis for decoration

Bake on the lowest rack for about 12-15 minutes, until golden. Cover with foil if the pepperoni gets too dark
