Pizza Mozzarella Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Patty Ingredients

01 - 1 pound of beef (80% lean)
02 - 1 tsp of onion powder
03 - 1 tsp of oregano (dried)
04 - 1 tsp of garlic powder
05 - 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes, adjust to preference

→ Toppings for Pizza

06 - 16 pepperoni slices
07 - 4 mozzarella slices
08 - A handful of fresh basil
09 - 1/2 cup of pizza sauce

→ For Building Burgers

10 - 4 burger buns (to toast)
11 - Extras: jalapeños, black olives, mushrooms (all sliced)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your grill or stovetop grill pan to medium heat. Let it heat up enough to get those beautiful marks on the patties.
02 - Combine the beef with the seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and chili flakes). Form 4 equal patties, pressing the middle gently to avoid ballooning as they cook.
03 - Grill the patties on one side for about 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until done to your liking (160°F for medium is suggested). Add mozzarella slices during the last 60 seconds, then close the grill lid for gooey melted cheese.
04 - Take off the patties once the cheese is perfect. Add pizza sauce and pepperoni slices. Pop the buns onto the grill for a quick toast until golden.
05 - Stack it up: bottom bun, a cheesy patty, pizza sauce, pepperoni, basil, and your favorite toppings. Place the top bun on, serve warm, and dig in!
