Fruit Paradise Tart (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crumble Topping

01 - 100g of all-purpose flour
02 - 50g of chilled butter, cut into small chunks
03 - 50g of brown sugar
04 - 50g of sliced almonds (optional)

→ Filling

05 - Fresh fruit of your choice (apples, pears, berries)
06 - 2 tablespoons of sugar
07 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch or flour

→ Shortcrust Pastry Base

08 - 200g of flour
09 - 50g of powdered sugar
10 - A pinch of salt
11 - 100g of cold butter, diced
12 - 1 egg yolk

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add the butter and use your fingers to mix until crumbly. Toss in the egg yolk, shape into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for half an hour.
02 - Get the fruit ready by slicing or cleaning them. Sprinkle with the sugar and cornstarch, or flour, and mix.
03 - Mix the flour, brown sugar, and butter until you get a sandy texture. If you like, add in the almonds.
04 - Roll out the dough and line a tart pan with it. Prick the base with a fork and spread the fruit mixture over it. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly across the top.
05 - Bake it in an oven preheated to 180°C (around 350°F, gas mark 6) for 35-40 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Store the tart in the fridge for 2-3 days.
02 - Feel free to swap the fruits based on the season.
