Oreo Peppermint Crunch (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 crushed Oreo cookies.
02 - 3 teaspoons of cornstarch.
03 - ¼ teaspoon table salt.
04 - ½ teaspoon baking powder.
05 - ½ teaspoon baking soda.
06 - 1½ cups plain flour.
07 - ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
08 - ½ cup chopped peppermint candy.
09 - ½ cup white chocolate chunks.
10 - ½ cup soft brown sugar.
11 - ¼ cup granulated sugar.
12 - ½ cup chilled butter, cubed.
13 - 1 large egg.
14 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F and line your baking trays. Cut your butter into cubes.
02 - Beat cold butter with brown sugar until smooth. Drop in an egg, vanilla, then white sugar. Mix for 2-3 minutes again.
03 - Stir in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it comes together.
04 - Fold in all the chocolate chips, Oreos, and peppermint pieces. Save a bit for putting on top.
05 - Scoop ⅓-cup dough balls, press extra mix-ins on top, and bake 9-11 minutes. The sides should look firm.
