Oreo Chocolate Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 25 whole Oreo cookies (244g).
02 - 60g melted unsalted butter.
03 - Pinch of salt.
04 - 1 cup cream.
05 - 2 cups milk.
06 - 4 egg yolks.
07 - 2/3 cup superfine sugar.
08 - 1/4 cup cornstarch.
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
11 - 75g milk chocolate.
12 - 150g dark chocolate (70% cocoa).
13 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, for topping.
14 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract for cream.
15 - 2 tablespoons white sugar, for cream.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 180°C/350°F. Cut out parchment paper to line your pie plate.
02 - Blend the Oreos into crumbs, mix in the melted butter, and press into pie dish. Bake for 10 mins, then let it cool down.
03 - Combine the dry ingredients, then whisk in the milk, cream, and egg yolks. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Stir in the butter, chocolates, and vanilla.
04 - Fill the crust with your mixture, press parchment on the surface, and cool for 2 hours. Then refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
05 - Whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla. Spread on top, sprinkle some chocolate shavings if you like.

# Notes:

01 - Can stay good for up to 3 days if prepared ahead.
02 - Add mascarpone to stabilize cream if necessary.
03 - Stick to baking chocolate, not regular eating chocolate.
