Beef Pinwheels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pack of puff pastry (includes 2 sheets).
02 - A package of French onion dip, plus extra for dipping later.
03 - 1 yellow onion.
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
05 - 2 tablespoons butter.
06 - Thinly sliced roast beef, about 1/2 pound.
07 - Half a pound of provolone cheese.
08 - One egg, for brushing.
09 - 3 tablespoons of water to mix with the egg.
10 - Chopped parsley to top it off.

# Instructions:

01 - Let the puff pastry sit out for 40 minutes to thaw. Turn on the oven and set it to 375°F.
02 - Heat olive oil and cook onions until they soften. Toss in butter and let it all cook together another 5 minutes until golden and sweet.
03 - Spread onion dip on top of the pastry. Add the onions, roast beef, and cheese in layers. Roll it up and seal the edge by brushing on the egg wash.
04 - Slice into pieces about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Lay them on baking sheets lined with parchment. Brush the tops with egg wash. Pop them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until they're golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - You can make puff pastry from scratch or buy some at the store.
02 - Tastes best fresh out of the oven.
