Nutella Roll Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 200 g of Nutella.
02 - 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
03 - 100 g of sugar.
04 - A pinch of salt.
05 - 4 eggs.
06 - 100 g of flour.
07 - Powdered sugar for dusting.
08 - Chopped hazelnuts or chocolate shavings for topping (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 180°C and let it heat up. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until the mix looks pale. Sift in the flour and baking powder, then mix together.
02 - With a pinch of salt, whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Gently fold them into the batter without deflating it.
03 - Spread the batter evenly over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake it for about 10-12 minutes until it has a light golden color.
04 - Flip the warm sponge onto a damp, clean towel. Peel off the parchment paper and carefully roll the sponge up with the towel. Let it cool down this way.
05 - When the sponge has cooled, unroll it carefully. Spread Nutella evenly all over it. Gently roll it back up tightly.
06 - Place the roll on a serving dish, dust it with powdered sugar, and sprinkle optional hazelnuts or chocolate shavings. Chill it for 30 minutes before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - This rolled cake makes a perfect afternoon snack or sweet dessert. You can prepare it ahead of time.
02 - Make sure to roll the sponge while it’s still warm to avoid cracking.
