Maryland Crab Cakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of crab meat, cleaned.
02 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
03 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise.
04 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
05 - 1/2 cup flavored breadcrumbs.
06 - 1 egg.
07 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
08 - 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning mix.
09 - Salt and black pepper, as needed.
10 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
11 - Oil for frying.
12 - Extra mayonnaise for dipping.
13 - Lemon wedges for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Gently stir the crab meat and breadcrumbs in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Whisk together egg, mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay, plus a dash of salt and pepper in a separate bowl.
03 - Carefully blend the creamy mixture into the crab and breadcrumb mix.
04 - Create 6-8 patties, around 1.5 cm thick and 3 inches across. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
05 - Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Brown the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden.
06 - Let them drain on paper towels. Enjoy warm with lemon wedges and a dollop of mayonnaise.
