Creamy maple pouding (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 55 g of brown sugar
02 - 250 ml of maple syrup
03 - 310 ml of heavy cream (35%)

→ Cake

04 - 90 ml of milk
05 - 1 egg
06 - 2.5 ml of vanilla extract
07 - 60 ml of canola oil
08 - 85 g of sugar
09 - 0.5 ml of salt
10 - 5 ml of baking powder
11 - 115 g of unbleached all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Warm your oven to 180°C, putting the rack in the middle. Mix all the ingredients in a small pan and whisk as you bring it to a boil. Let it simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then take it off the heat.
02 - Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In a different bowl, use an electric mixer to whip together the sugar, oil, vanilla, and egg. On low speed, slowly mix in the dry ingredients and the milk, alternating between them. Pour the mix into a 20 cm square baking dish. Gently pour the sauce over the batter.
03 - Bake it for 25 minutes or until a toothpick poked in the middle comes out clean. Let it cool on a rack for a bit before you serve it.
