Maple French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices of baguette, 3-4 cm thick
02 - 2 eggs
03 - 1 1/4 cups (310 ml) of milk
04 - 2 tablespoons of maple sugar
05 - Butter, as needed
06 - 3/8 cup (90 ml) of golden maple syrup
07 - Seasonal fresh fruits for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Crack the eggs into a bowl, whisk them, then add maple sugar and milk. Stir until smooth.
02 - Place the baguette slices in the mixture. Let them soak for 2-3 hours, flipping occasionally to coat all sides.
03 - Put a frying pan over medium heat and melt about 15 ml of butter. Lay the soaked baguette slices in the pan. Cover and cook one side until golden, flip them over, and cook the other side until both are browned nicely.
04 - Melt 50 g of butter and warm the maple syrup together.
05 - Layer the golden bread slices on a plate, scatter your fruits on top, and pour over the warm maple syrup and melted butter.

# Notes:

01 - You can soak the baguette slices longer for an extra fluffy texture.
