Chili Lime Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken & Seasonings

01 - Black pepper (¼ teaspoon)
02 - Salt (¼ teaspoon)
03 - Ground cumin (½ teaspoon)
04 - Paprika (½ teaspoon)
05 - Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
06 - 2 large chicken breasts, about 1-1.2 lbs

→ Chili Lime Marinade

07 - 1 red chili pepper, sliced thin
08 - Red chili flakes (½ teaspoon)
09 - Dash of salt
10 - Honey (1 tablespoon)
11 - Juice of 1 fresh lime
12 - Chopped fresh cilantro (½ cup)
13 - 2 minced garlic cloves
14 - Olive oil (¼ cup)

# Instructions:

01 - Stir everything for the marinade together in one bowl until it’s blended nicely.
02 - Take the chicken breasts and cut them down the middle lengthwise. Slice into bite-sized pieces. Toss the chicken with olive oil, a tablespoon of the marinade, and your spices in a big bowl.
03 - Warm a skillet over medium heat with some olive oil. Cook chicken for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through. Spoon on some marinade toward the end.
04 - Move the chicken to a plate and drizzle the rest of the marinade on top.

# Notes:

01 - You can let the chicken marinate in advance or cook it straight away.
02 - Works great in tacos, on salads, or as your main dish.
03 - Want it more or less spicy? Adjust the chili.
