Light & Tasty Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 800 g of carrots
02 - 1 onion
03 - 1 garlic clove

→ To make the sauce

04 - 20 cl of light cream
05 - 2 eggs
06 - 50 g grated Swiss cheese

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt - add to your liking
08 - Pepper - add to taste
09 - A dash of nutmeg

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to preheat at 180°C.
02 - Peel and slice up the carrots into rounds. Steam them or boil until you can easily stab a fork through them.
03 - Finely chop up the onion and garlic.
04 - Whisk the light cream, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg together in a mixing bowl.
05 - Combine your steamed carrots, onion, garlic, and the sauce you just made. Pour this mix into a baking dish. Top with grated cheese if you'd like.
06 - Pop everything in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
