Korean Fried Chicken Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
02 - 3 tablespoons cornstarch or potato starch
03 - 1½ pounds of chicken wings
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Sauce

05 - 4 tablespoons brown sugar
06 - 1 tablespoon water
07 - ¾ teaspoon coarse black pepper
08 - ½ tablespoon garlic powder
09 - 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
10 - 4 tablespoons soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Dry the chicken wings well with some paper towels.
02 - Stir together the garlic powder, onion powder, and potato starch. Coat the chicken wings completely in the mix.
03 - Arrange the wings inside the air fryer in one layer. Flip them over halfway through, and cook at 400°F for 20 minutes.
04 - As the wings are almost done (around 3 minutes left), stir all sauce ingredients in a pan over medium heat. Let it bubble while stirring constantly.
05 - Take the pan off the heat and toss the hot wings in the sauce until coated nicely.

# Notes:

01 - Serves 2 people as a main or 3-4 as a starter.
02 - Feel free to make a larger batch by doubling or tripling the amounts.
03 - Sometimes called Dakgangjeong or Soy Garlic Fried Chicken.
