Honey Lemon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup cornstarch.
02 - 1 large lemon, juiced and zested.
03 - 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
04 - 1 egg.
05 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
06 - 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts.
07 - 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce.
08 - 3 tablespoons olive oil.
09 - 2 tablespoons honey.
10 - 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes.
12 - 1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar.
13 - Sesame seeds and green onions for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine honey, zest, lemon juice, vinegar, soy sauce, and chili flakes. Whisk until smooth.
02 - Stir together egg and soy sauce. Dip the chicken in the mixture, then roll it fully in cornstarch.
03 - In small batches, fry chicken pieces until crispy and golden. Set them aside on a plate.
04 - Cook ginger and garlic in a pan. Pour in the sauce mix and add the chicken. Let it cook down until thick and coats the chicken nicely.
05 - Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.
