Golden honey caramel (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry and mixes

01 - 90 g of white sugar
02 - 100 g of room temperature butter
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
04 - 175 g of all-purpose flour
05 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla powder or extract
06 - 3 tablespoons of honey or 2 tablespoons of golden syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 180°C and preheat it.
02 - Mix the sugar and softened butter together until combined.
03 - Add the rest of the ingredients into the butter mixture and stir it all well.
04 - Divide the dough into three even parts.
05 - Roll each piece into a log shape and arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
06 - Make sure there's space between the dough logs since they'll spread while baking. Gently press each one down a bit with your finger.
07 - Put them in the oven and bake for 12–14 minutes, or until they've turned golden.
08 - As soon as you take them out of the oven, carefully slice them diagonally while they're still hot.
09 - Let the cookies cool down completely, then enjoy these yummy homemade honey-flavored cookies.
