Homemade Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 teaspoon salt
02 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1/4 cup sugar (granulated)
05 - 1/2 cup butter (unsalted, melted)
06 - 4 cups plain flour
07 - 1 cup milk (warm, around 110°F)
08 - 2 teaspoons dry yeast (active)

→ Topping

09 - 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing)
10 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
11 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar, yeast, and warm milk in a big bowl. Give it 5–10 minutes to foam up. Toss in melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Gradually work in the flour until it comes together into a soft dough.
02 - Work dough on a floured countertop for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and stretchy. Grease a bowl, place dough inside, cover it, and let it puff up for 1 to 2 hours.
03 - Roll dough into a thin rectangle around 1/4 inch thick. Spread butter over it, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix, roll it tight into a log, and slice into 12 even pieces.
04 - Arrange rolls in a greased pan. Let them rise 30–45 minutes under cover. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter while still warm.

# Notes:

01 - You can dust them with powdered sugar or drizzle vanilla glaze on top before eating.
02 - Store leftovers in a container with a lid at room temperature for a few days.
