Mix sugar, yeast, and warm milk in a big bowl. Give it 5–10 minutes to foam up. Toss in melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Gradually work in the flour until it comes together into a soft dough.

Work dough on a floured countertop for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and stretchy. Grease a bowl, place dough inside, cover it, and let it puff up for 1 to 2 hours.

Roll dough into a thin rectangle around 1/4 inch thick. Spread butter over it, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix, roll it tight into a log, and slice into 12 even pieces.

Arrange rolls in a greased pan. Let them rise 30–45 minutes under cover. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter while still warm.
