Beef Tenderloin Roast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Center-cut beef tenderloin, 4 to 4.5 pounds, tied and trimmed.
02 - Kosher salt, 2 teaspoons.
03 - Black pepper, freshly ground, 1 teaspoon.
04 - Avocado oil, 2 tablespoons.
05 - Softened butter, 6 tablespoons.
06 - Minced garlic, 6 cloves.
07 - Chopped rosemary, fresh, 1 teaspoon.
08 - Chopped thyme leaves, fresh, 1 teaspoon.

# Instructions:

01 - Leave the meat out for 1-2 hours to warm up. Combine softened butter with minced garlic and fresh herbs.
02 - Set your oven to 425°F. Dry the beef with paper towels. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over.
03 - Heat up avocado oil and brown the roast on all sides. Takes around 10 minutes in total.
04 - Smear the butter mixture generously on the top of the tenderloin.
05 - Cook the roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until it reaches the internal temp you like.
06 - Let the roast sit for 10-15 minutes. Remove the strings before cutting into slices.
