Heart Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 can (12.4 oz) ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls (like Pillsbury) or your favorite homemade dough
02 - A little flour to lightly dust surfaces (if rolling out homemade dough)

→ Optional Cream Cheese Topping

03 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, also softened
05 - 1 cup powdered (confectioner's) sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
07 - 1-2 tablespoons milk (adjust until smooth and pourable)

→ Toppings

08 - Colorful sprinkles in shades of pink, red, and white
09 - A pinch of edible glitter (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Carefully unroll each cinnamon roll just a little. Pinch the ends at the bottom to make a point, then round the top to give it a heart shape.
02 - If your dough starts sticking while shaping, pop it in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes to firm up.
03 - Stick to the instructions on your cinnamon roll package if using store-bought dough, or use your recipe guide for homemade.
04 - Blend together the soft cream cheese and butter until silky. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla, adding a bit of milk at a time until it pours nicely.
05 - While they're still warm, ice the cinnamon rolls and sprinkle over your chosen toppings right away so they stick.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to use homemade or pre-made dough, whichever is easier.
02 - For a fun pop of color, mix a drop or two of pink or red dye into the icing.
03 - Tastes best fresh and warm, straight from the oven.
04 - For a festive vibe, tint the icing in Valentine's colors like rosy pink or red.
